Claude is renaming its paid Max tiers:
Max 5x → Max
Max 20x → Ultra
The renamed subscriptions retain their monthly fees: $100 for Max and $200 for Ultra. Current customers can keep using their accounts without making changes.
Ultra’s five-hour usage cap is being lifted for verified accounts, beginning with most existing subscribers. Newer accounts still have a temporary cap while verification is pending, as an anti-fraud and anti-abuse measure; an email will confirm its removal.
Weekly allowances are staying the same.
