A minimized AI chat is small, but it changes how waiting feels
GitHub says Copilot Chat on github.com now lets users minimize an in-progress chat, return to recent conversations, and view per-session and per-message token spend indicators. That can make long responses less disruptive: keep browsing, then return to the same conversation instead of treating the chat as a blocking screen.
