Doggos on My Street keeps a diary of the dogs walking past one house: how often they appear, when they pass and which direction they go.
A security camera streams video to a Mac mini. A local YOLO model detects dogs and saves photos. Claude Vision selects the best shot and matches each dog against familiar visitors.
Claude also gives the dogs names, draws their portraits and invents an entirely imaginary backstory for each one. The site turns the sightings into illustrated profiles and walking statistics; the biographies are fiction.
The setup is mostly autonomous, with its creator double-checking it roughly once a week.
