Open-source API client with local collections, readable request files, Git collaboration and a CLI for automated API tests.
Bruno is an API client for exploring and testing HTTP, REST, GraphQL and gRPC services. The desktop app runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Collections live in folders on your filesystem as readable request files, so a team can review changes and collaborate with Git or another version-control system. There is no cloud-sync requirement for storing collections; calling a remote API still needs access to that API.
The Bruno CLI runs collections, individual requests or folders against a chosen environment and can be used in CI/CD. Official CLI Docker images are also available. The Open Source edition is free. Paid Pro and Ultimate editions add team, Git workflow, governance and integration features; the current pricing page lists $6 and $11 per user/month respectively, billed annually. Third-party API services may have their own access rules and charges.
