OpenMAIC is an open-source AI platform for turning a topic or a document into a rich, interactive classroom. Its multi-agent orchestration can generate slides, quizzes, interactive simulations and project-based learning activities, with AI teachers and classmates that can speak, use a whiteboard and participate in real-time discussions. The v1.0.0 Pro workbench adds a chat-first workspace for planning, building and revising whole courses. Sessions are server-backed, materials can be uploaded or gathered through web search, and the project includes built-in skills for slides, quizzes, interactives, PBL, images, video, voices and PPTX import. The platform is designed to let users bring their own models, media, search providers and storage backend.
