Stirling PDF is an open-source PDF platform that can run as a desktop app, in a browser, or on your own server. It keeps documents under your control while providing tools to edit, merge, split, sign, redact, convert, OCR, compress, and process PDFs. The project README describes more than 50 PDF tools, a private API for integrations, and no-code pipelines that can be assembled in the interface. It also documents SSO, auditing, on-premises deployment options, and a user interface available in more than 40 languages.
