A Blender street corner in four looks: photoreal, cyberpunk, anime... - Vibeus
A Blender street corner in four looks: photoreal, cyberpunk, anime and papercraft. Every texture was generated with local models and projected onto the scene geometry using StableGen, the free, open-source Blender add-on developed by u/sakalond.
The car, woman, bench, lamp, hydrant, bin, crates and bush are TRELLIS.2 meshes made from text prompts via Qwen Image 2.1 reference images. The buildings, road and sidewalk are simple blocks.
For texturing, Qwen Image 2.1 (int8) used ten camera views. Each view started with a depth and geometry render, and the resulting texture was projected and blended across the meshes together. Prompts named only the objects visible to each camera so views would not paint objects that were not there. The woman was textured separately with her own cameras.
The logo and several problem spots were handled with Masked Edit, which regenerates a painted region through the cameras that see it. The logo used reference-image support from the development branch, slated for the next release. Each look was a separate texturing run with its own prompts and Blender lighting. The photoreal version used Marigold V2 PBR maps. The results were baked and rendered in Cycles.
The workflow ran on rented RTX 3090 and 4090 GPUs and a 16 GB RTX 4080. The author flags Qwen Image 2.1’s noncommercial license and advises checking each model’s terms before commercial use.
